Meet the ArchivePress team:

Richard Project management: Richard Davis, ULCC Digital Archives Department. Richard has worked on digital preservation projects for over 10 years. Recent work includes a clutch of JISC repository and preservation projects, including SNEEP and CLASM; Linnean Online (an Eprints-powered archive of Linnaeus’s specimens); and NDAD , a dataset archive for the National Archives. Richard has been messing about with blogs since at least 2003: he has set up or contributed to several, including ULCC’s DA Blog and the JISC-PoWR blog, and studied the applications and implications of blogging in education and research, as part of his ongoing MSc E-learning course at University of Edinburgh.

MaureenUser requirements analysis: Maureen Pennock, British Library Digital Preservation Department. Maureen will be the Product Owner for this project, representing the requirements and expectations of the digital preservation community. Maureen has worked on several digital preservation and repository projects since 2001 when she joined the Dutch Digital Preservation Testbed project. Subsequent projects include the EU-funded ERPANET project, the Digital Curation Centre, the RSP and the JISC 4-04 synthesis study. She is currently the Web Archive Preservation Project Manager at the British Library.

Ed User requirements analyst: Ed Pinsent, ULCC Digital Archives Department. Ed will advise on specification, user interface, testing, rights/permissions and metadata. Ed is an experienced archivist, with considerable recent experience in web archiving and use of Web Curator Tool, through his work with UKWAC and the UK Web Archive, as well as JISC-PoWR and DPTP (Digital Preservation Training Programme). Other recent digital archiving projects include AIDA (Assessing Institutional Digital Assets) and NDAD .

Emanuele Fortunati Lead developer: Emanuele Fortunati. Emanuele is an experienced Multimedia and Web Developer/Designer, with a passion for blogging. Previous work and projects include Web, desktop and mobile applications for small companies, network monitoring utilities, Facebook applications, WordPress plugins and AJAX games.

Rory Development consultant: Rory McNicholl, ULCC Digital Archives Department.Rory is an experienced PHP and Perl developer who has worked extensively on digital archive and repository projects, particularly EPrints and WordPress. He is project manager for the CLASM project , and senior developer for SNEEP, and many repository systems including PRIMO (Practice-as-Research In Music Online), Linnean Online and Their Past Your Future. He also presents a module on e-repositories as part of the DPTP.
